Bag: COMMON PEOPLE | Trousers: ZARA | T-Shirt: TOPSHOP | Sandals: TOPSHOP
Long time no blogging! So apologies for being super rubbish with blogging recently, since my last blog post at the end of March, I've left Topshop and been to Japan (blog post to come in a week or so don't you worry!). Oh and I'm also starting a new buying job in bags and accessories at ASOS on Tuesday, which I'm very very excited about.

Speaking of bags, I was lucky enough to be reached out to by a New Zealand based handbags brand called Common People, who produce the most beautifully crafted leather handbags. As a bags lover myself, and also wanting to pursue a career in bags buying, I could hardly say no to such an amazing opportunity! I was able to select a bag of my choosing and went for "AINT NO SAINT", which retails at 310NZD, roughly converting to £160 so not bad for a real leather bag that will last you season on season!

I personally love the studded base, which can toughen up any look and gives off that rock-chick vibe. I can't wait to shoot it with floral dresses and boots in the summer to create a toughened up boho/festival look. As we've had such lush weather recently, this time round I styled the bag with these ultra-lightweight crepe striped trousers from Zara, which were an absolute BARG at £17.99! In line with the tough exterior of the studded bag, I styled the trousers with this on-trend slogan "FEMINIST" tee from Topshop. So steer clear boys, because I've got a studded bag and I'm not afraid to use it! Sandals are also my go-to this time of year so I teamed the studded bag with some Topshop sandals that also feature studded detail (it was about time I gave my ruined Birkenstocks a day off).

Fear not ladies if £160 is a bit steep for you, there are also some cheaper bag options at Common People so why not check out their website!

Also watch this space for my post all about my adventures in Japan in a week or so!

Have a lovely weekend!
