60s A/W Styling | ft. Topshop and Zara

TOPSHOP: top | jeans | jacket | bag
ZARA: boots
CLUSE: watch
COS: bangle
So unless you've been living under a rock, you will know that the swinging 60s are taking over high-street fashion once again and as a lover of the 60s, I am fully embracing this retro decade across all areas of my wardrobe. Not one to normally opt for a hat, I was apprehensive to delve into the "Baker Boy hat" trend but being as my fave brand Topshop, where I work, has brought out some super cool borg and cord fabrications- I couldn't resist for any longer! And let's face it, a hat is the perfect Autumn/Winter accessory, move aside fur pom beanies.

This 60s trend goes beyond accessories and also into footwear- I am legit dying over these Zara patent boots at the amazing steal price of £29.99!! All my friends and colleagues have been mesmerised by them and everyone is asking where they're from, then become pleasantly surprised when I tell them the price! As much as I'm normally a black ankle boot kind of girl, burgundy/maroon has come as a nice change to my footdrobe (footwear wardrobe).

I've styled these 60s accessories with my go-to Topshop straight jeans and this beautifully constructed asymmetric top at yet another steal price of £24, also from Topshop (of course). Draping over a Topshop PU biker jacket, because it was far too warm yesterday to actually wear a jacket. As well as this day-to-night Topshop gem studded shoulder bag.
