After a year or so, I thought it was about time I shoot in Chelsea again- the ice white town houses with chequered stair cases and jet black metal railings make the perfect backdrop after all!

One of the perks of working at Topshop HQ has to be the discount, which never fails to tempt me to visit the flagship, conveniently just down the road. After browsing the "JURY Mid Heel V-Cut Shoes" online multiple times, I eventually gave into temptation and they were a steal at £49 for real suede leather! After purchasing a pale blue slingback pair in the Summer and wearing them into the ground (no pun intended), I thought a black pair would be the perfect wardrobe staple. Being only 5ft4, a little block heel always helps my legs look that little bit longer, so they're perfect for all you petite gals out there! I styled the low heels with a pair of ripped hem Topshop "Jamie" jeans, which are my go-to FYI, and I think most gals' go-to for fitted low-rise jeans!

Mixing the high-street with a splash of designer is also one of my fave ways to style casual outfits, with my everyday xbody bag from Sandro making an appearance once again, oh and a laid back graphic tee also from Sandro. A longline blazer, from Topshop of course, is perfect to complete the look, also working as a duster jacket hybrid. The clean silhouette dresses up the casual look with the pattern adding some interest, whilst tying in with the colour theme of the shoot (monochrome, obviously).

In working with accessories, I have always had an interest in non-clothing items and the Dior sunglasses of the moment "0204S" in silver perfectly completed the look.

After shooting, myself and two of my gal pals headed to the King's Road for a spot of late lunch at Bluebird Cafe- we would highly recommend the burger and fries. And if you're hungover as I was today, opt for the peach iced tea or caramel iced latte over a glass of bubbly.

Hope you're all enjoying your bank holiday!
