Myself and the incredible Hilary Alexander!!!!!!

The peplum style of these knits was mesmerising!

Winchester School of Art showcasing their 3rd year Fashion Marketing work (what I'll be doing in 2 years time!)

In light of my bralet love at the mo, I fell in love with these traditional takes on the classic bralet

So today I headed to Graduate Fashion Week 2014 for my first time ever, and boy was it exciting! Located in the buzzing district of Shoreditch, as opposed to Earls Court in previous years, the venue was surrounded by diversity and individuality! As a student at Winchester School of Art, who actually showcased their Fashion and Textiles as well as Fashion Marketing work there, I managed to get into the exhibition for free! So find out if your university showcases there and you might get in for free too! Not only did we look around the exhibition but we were also given access to talks with several industry insiders, including Hilary Alexander (who I in fact met!!) and the head of George at Asda. Myself and a friend, also studying fashion, purchased tickets for the University of Northampton catwalk show, which was incredibly innovative may I add! So it was an amazing and insightful day all round, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone interested in getting into the fast and furious fashion industry!!
