So over the weekend, myself and a few friends headed to Amsterdam for a weekend trip away. And I have to say what an amazing city, the Royal Palace as shown below had particularly beautiful architecture.

The theatrical imagery created by the store window merchandising below was particularly eye-catching, created by famous Dutch designer Duran Lantink and Pup Creative Agency.

One of the most picturesque parts of 'Dam' (as we called it) was the canal running through the centre.

I'd say Amsterdam was one of the most contrasting cities in the world, from the Royal Palace in the square to the street art within the floral market as shown below.

I'd definitely say Amsterdam is a must, from Anne Frank's house to Van Gogh's Museum to the Red Light District. Although I did feel like we experienced enough in the three days we were there so I'd definitely suggest a short break.
